Pipe Dream Polish Time in a Tapestry...

Wednesday, October 16, 2013
Today I would like to show you some nail art with an indie beauty named Time in a Tapestry from Pipe Dream Polish. As I was going through my stamping plates and trying to pick out the perfect design to compliment the polish, there was one design that jumped out at me. I do believe this is the first manicure I've done that has been inspired by the polish logo...

To create this manicure, I started out with a base of three coats of Pipe Dream Polish Time in a Tapestry. You can see full swatches of it further down in the post...

I stamped the paisley print using Maybeline Bold Gold (70) and Cheeky XL plate "I"...

I love how the paisley print plays into the 'tapestry' part of the name. Using individual paisley images allowed me to create a different look on each nail and space the pattern out so that the polish still shows through...

I love the paisley P in the logo and how fun is it to have a matching pattern to stamp?...
They are like two P's in a pod... (so sorry for the pun, it is really late...)

Pipe Dream Polish Time in a Tapestry is a green jelly with a gold shimmer and loaded with gold, cooper and brown glitter. I needed three coats for full coverage. I suggest thin coats for easy application since thick coats can get goopy (yup, that's a very technical term here). There is lots of glitter in each brush stroke. It is so gorgeous and perfectly fitting to the name. Swatches are with a top coat...
