For this manicure, I created the panda bears as decals ahead of time. There are a few different ways to create decals, but I prefer to make mine on a ziplock baggie by first painting a little bit of clear polish and allowing it to dry. After the clear polish is dry, a pattern is stamped onto it and then colored in with nail polish or acrylic paint (my preference). For these panda decals, I stamped the panda pattern from Winstonia plate W115 using Essence Stampy Black. I flipped one panda over so that they would face each other and then colored in both of them using white acrylic paint. It is a fairly simple and fun process, but opens up the opportunity for so many beautiful and colorful designs. If you would like to see a tutorial please let me know.
The base on all the nails is the beautiful holographic Color Club Kismet. I stamped two different bamboo patterns, both from Winstonia plate W110 using Color Club Wild Cactus. After the background pattern was stamped, I added the panda decals and sealed everything in with a top coat...
Don't they just look so cute among all the bamboo? :D
I found this cute little cartoon online a while ago. I'm couldn't find the original source to give credit to, but I think it is so adorable that I had to share...
Happy Earth Day everyone! :)
